ELITE CLIENTELE’S COUP DE COEUR Patron of the arts Dolores Smithies introduced Frédéric to an elite clientele in Gstaad and Palm Beach. A prominent philanthropist of Cuban descent, Ms. Smithies supported international artists like Fernando Botero, and was instrumental in establishing and promoting Art Basel Miami. Frédéric Béziat was her coup de coeur.
